Looks like the right stuff and quite cheap too 👍
Yam RD125 DX, Kwak GPZ305, Honda CB400T, 1983 Kwak GT550, Suzuki GSF650 Bandit, Tiger 1050SE .... got there in the end.

The stuff hasnt arrived yet

I took the old stuff out ready so I can make up sizes

Noticed I will only have enough for the pier cable. Will the earth cable be ok as it is

I could use the old power cable and double it up if I have to lol

Usuall heat starting problems for friend with a 2007 model...
Upgraded cables, fresh battery, new starter from the Sport version, as T offered (at a rather high price)  :003:
If connected to a booster it will start fine.
Our mechanic thinks that the problem isn't the starter motor, which sounds "alive and kicking" to his ears, but he feels that the engine (pistons - gears whatever) just "play it hard" to move.
If left to cool down for 10 mins or so, everything just works fine !

Has anybody reached a definite solution to this issue?

Any comments welcome.

No definitive solution.

A fresh battery, but which make/model?

Battery or starter motor

If not temp sensor causing overfuelling but connecting a booster to it seems to rule that out

To clarify on mine

Replaced the positive cable for new
Double up on the earth cable

Battery on optimate

Not too happy how the cables are run by there so much bigger

Seems to fire and run fine. Hopefully Ill never have to know if they make a difference or not (long live the sprag)
