Center stand for Tiger Sport ( Single side swing arm )
« on: 29 November, 2019, 05:41:45 AM »
Hello,
I need to know if the center stand of the Triumph Sprint ST can fit on a Tiger Sport, both uses the same engine , I found a good center stand
on eBay and I think it can be placed on my bike.

it is supposed that the Tiger is a Sport touring bike but it does not have that accesory installed  and Its very expensive to import one from England to my country (Mexico).

I hope somebody can help me with this is issue.

Having looked at the parts fiche for both bikes, NO.

Totally different design, its the frames of the bikes that would need to be the same or similar, and they arent. The Tiger centrestand pivots on an axle, the sprint centrestand bolts on either side.

Thanks for the information, I thought that It could fit, will check the fiche and ask  a friend who is a profesional welder if he could make an adaptation,  Its is better and cheaper than the OEM center stand ( Here $400 US dollars), thanks again !

Just wait for a World of Triumph special. Like they had on the crash bars.

They come up every now and again, so keep an eye out for eBay or perhaps a breakers yard too.

It really needs to be the right one, but I agree that $400 is waaaay too much  :031:

There's this one in the USA,

https://www.ebay.com/itm/TRIUMPH-CENTER-STAND-FOR-TIGER-1050-ABS-SPECIAL-EDITION/123243131306?hash=item1cb1dcf1aa:g:cokAAOSwfM9dYFNi
Not sure if it's the one you're looking for but it's less than 200 USD

I will see that web page, I hope to find it and see if is there another good stuff to buy, the problem is the shipping cost, but I guess its better than the high prices in my country.
Thank you so much
