Great price on the 396, I paid 230 for a used one last year.
Can't help thinking there must be an update coming as the Zumos are all a couple of years old now, probably a load of stuff you don't need however!

Seriously? My iPhone 6 Plus is now the new Garmin after years of their proprietary crap. Google Maps does me proud. I truly thought GPS units had lived out their Darwinian life....? The same device(s) - I have two - is also now a security camera (yes, the actual camera, accessed from other phones) when needed, controls my irrigation, is my second phone when on my wifi in the basement, etc. It's a tool that can be multi-purposed. Various apps keep making it universal! I ran Garmin for years, repaired them, etc. The iPhone alternative is so far beyond what I was limited to that I'd never consider a dedicated GPS again. I can even get free maps now with a little planning. Garmin? Not a chance..... I do respect the info on a deal. But check the price of a used phone first as a comparison, IMHO.
