Right then, took off tank and air box, checked all plug caps and electrics fitted correctly but whilst in there found a rubber pipe that isnt connected to anything.  Where on earth does it go?

2 cents on the MAP sensor's piping left disconnected

A picture would be helpful but it looks like Puccio already gave you your answer.

Of the electrical connections on the top of the airbox it is the one on the left and is the only one with a little thin hose connector "hidden" underneath it in a vertical position.  Easy to miss, particularly for me.  A mistake you only make once. :430:

Just back from a quick ride to Route 59 Cafe near Skipton (great butties, staff and customers) good roads and scenery, well worth a visit.  The tiger is running very well and the combination of new iridium plugs and a K&N air filter has her performing better than ever (smoother) right through the rev range but most noticeably at higher revs.  I do have an engine management light on but believe this should reser after three heat cycles?  Please note that when fitting a K&N filter you need to use the seal from your original air filter as it doesn't come with its own.  I didn't realise this and had to go searching through my bin to find my old filter.  Thanks again for the help and offers of assistance.  One last thing, is there any way of clearing the (spanner) service light? :031:
