Another newbie

Hi all, and thanks for adding me.  Bought my 2010 Tiger 1050se a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it.   It's my first triple engine in over 45 years riding, all my previous Triumphs have been twins.
I hope to learn more about the ways of this fine beast from you experienced owners.  Will post pics as soon as I work out how(bit of a dinosaur)!

What colour is the new bike? Has the previous owner looked after it well? 🍻

Hi Tigermike.  It seems to be about as close to mint as a 9/10 year old bike could be.  It's the black and grey colour scheme, has done 6,000 miles and only one previous owner.  New gold chain and sprockets, and new Michelin PR5s just before I bought it.  It has 12v and USB sockets all over, and an MRA screen with the flip top.  It does seem to run a little hot in traffic (well documented on this forum I see) but fan cuts in as it should.  Will be doing the coolant flush and refresh caps etc. very soon.
Overall I could not be more pleased with the bike.  Will post pics as soon as I can.

Sound like a great find. Many people walked more than 6k miles in the last 10 years  :031:

Thanks Seangee,  it is a very low mileage, in fact I've done nearly 10% of those since I got it!  Was a little wary but MOT history and service records all good.

I have been over every bolt on it, most were as they should be, but the legendary sump  bolts almost all needed a nip up to recommended torque. Not the easiest things to get a torque wrench on either!  Getting down under the bike is ok, it's the getting back up again.

I've managed to put a couple of pics in the photo gallery. Can't quite move them into a message yet.  Give me time.....
