Replacement Exhaust Headers
« on: 21 August, 2019, 02:41:43 AM »
Does anyone know of a manufacturer that produces after market headers for the Tiger? Mine is quite badly cracked and the guy I have taken it to hasn't had a great deal of luck welding it up.
I've been searching through google and bing but can't seem to find anyone who produces a header/manifold either with or without the CAT fitted. Lots of places selling Link pipes and mufflers but none advertisng headers.

I must admit I am not impressed with the guy who had my pipes as he swears they are NOT stainless and he can't TIG them. if I can't buy an aftermarket set I may just bite the bullet, retrieve them from the guy who has them and find a specialist welder and see what he can do.

Annoyed as he's promised me them on 4 different days and I can't continue with the diagnosis of the starting problems without them.

ANYHOO, anyone know where i can get some headers apart from EBAY, loads on there but all seem to be from the states.
I never touched it, you can't blame me, it went off when I was cleaning it.

Had my CAT removed and welded up by a specialist welder, his words were, "Well its Stainless, but pretty shite stainless" :008:
