Can you get at the flasher relay by taking off the right side panels?  OR, do you have to flip open the nose cone too?

The answer is you do have to remove the nose cone.  The relay is above the right head light.  The wonderful service manual says it is "next to the right headlight".  Hmmm, great explanation.  Love those electrical connectors too.
