hello from Washington State USA
« on: 22 May, 2019, 05:20:45 AM »
born in England and I finally purchased my first Triumph. found one with high mileage 66K miles. but low price.

2007 blue Tiger.

I like the riding position, the motor is awesome. The suspension should be used on ISIL captives. The rear is terrible.

I am going to ride it a while enjoy it and then sell it for close to what I paid for it.

great introduction into triumphs like them allot.

Former Aprilia owner, Tuono, RSVR, Caponord, Falco and Futura.

I currently own BMW K1200LT, Honda XR650L, and 1982 GS1100EZ.

Many have put a rear shock from a similar year Honda Fireblade and been very happy with the outcome.

Cheap as chips  :031:

Just had a body wrenching ride on a cousin's Fireblade. Must have stuck in my mind  :087:

Of course I meant Blackbird, for the rear spring, and not Fireblade  :125:

I've a feeling a Blackbird rear spring might provide the same body-wrenching!

Thank you for the rear shock recommendations. I will review my options soon. Thinking respring the stock unit.  I am two up weight as a solo.  currently the bike wallows in the corners and only seems to have millimeters of free travel.

Love the photo of your garage  :028:

I've seen Blackbird springs for around $80 on eBay.

Send the old one to Guantanamo Bay  :008:
