Fault lamps illuminated
« on: 19 May, 2019, 07:51:42 PM »
Hi all,

One for the back pocket..... having been fiddling and changing Modes I managed to get an ECU, TPMS and ABS error lamp up.  :009:

I reset on TuneECU but on my first ride after doing so the fault re-occurred. So when I got back today I reset the fault codes again and then disconnected the battery.

Re-connected the battery, reset my Hilltop software just in case and hey presto all back to normal  :001: Just like everything else now a days  a reboot seems to be the answer! Worth remembering perhaps?

ah......and then they came back again.

I had another go at it and discovered there were error codes in the ABS module as well as the ECU.

I cleared both lots of errors via TuneECU and re-booted by disconnecting the battery.

I did a 100 miles yesterday without issue so I think I have cracked it now!

Serves me right for not reading the manual before pressing buttons :745:

The lamps were ABS, ECU and TPMS - indicative of the riding MODE not changing correctly.
