PM me your mobile number and I'll text it to him. Not a dealer - he's clearing out someone's garage (who believed in lots of spares ....). I'll let him tell you the price - not my job.

I bought one - it's new and works great. Seems my old reservoir was not 100% - it is now!

You already have my number Paullie, from when I dropped off the indicators and gear change lever last year 👍 I will send you a message on whatsapp.

Is it that dodgy one Paullie just replaced?  :745:

Nah, it was dirty though. Carefully dismantled it, cleaned it and reassembled and it works flawlessly.

Yeah, they are supposed to be sealed units, but I dismantled mine also (probably not so carefully ... more pulled it apart in frustration  :003: ). There is a screw ajdjustment at the top to be careful of, and also a rubber diaphram. I got mine working again, and the use of red oil in particular solved my problems - my reservoir seems to be in a hot location as regards hot air coming off the motor.

But a new one was just nicer with finer adjustment.

Yeah I wouldn't say my adjustment is super fine but it works for sure. Just gave it a clean, bit of red rubber grease on the diaphragm and a quick blast out of the feed with compressed air.

Works good enough for me

I appreciate the conversation about Scott Oilers - until now I really didn't understand the benefit.

I've been using DuPont  Chain Saver for years, apply about every 300 miles. Two or so cans per year at $7 per can doesn't break the bank. The chain stays dry and slick as a whistle (as my ole dad used to say).  That said, I can see if I was routinely putting on more miles or if on a trip lasting more than a day or two the oiler would be a better solution.  I may give it a go.
