This has me concerned too. I may take the nose cone off and add some preventative reinforcement.

If its only a matter of time even with the brackets...

I have officially epoxied all the lugs. I put two pieces of plastic and made a curved triangle of plastic to stabilize the front cone even more. I hope this fixes it because my motorcycle budget is dwindling due to that who not having a job being a full time student problem

The nose cone doesn't appear to be a point of weakness, until you view it from the inside  :155:

Looks like a good job to me  :028:

Here is the thread from the "how to" section that covers several methods to make them.

I am purchasing a 2010 SE on Friday which has the Madstad already on it.  This post seems to reference other threads, maybe on other forums, don't know, but can someone list some of those posts.  Looks like a great fix.  When I had my 2007 I used several windscreens, MRA Vario and double bubble.  I just may try to find a stock shield.  Even though lots of folks talk about turbulence, I've always preferred to gave my helmet in clear air.

The stock screen put my face directly in the windstream, not necessary clean air and my eyes would dry out with a full face helmet on, it was also obnoxiously loud. I guess I dont know what posts you are wanting us to list?

I never had a problem with the stock screen on my 07/08 Tiger. Was happy to accept that speed and air turbulence go together and are a part of the experience. Otherwise the Miata/MX5 ticks all of those other boxes.

Back together I can shake the entire bike with no flex. I wonder if the Cee Bailey windscreen that was originally on it broke it and the Madstad finished the job
