I use OpenShot video editor. It looks quite complicated at first but a quick look at the youtube tutorial videos and it's actually quite easy to use.

You could always use Quik (GoPro desktop editing). I use it from time to time. Nothing flash very basic tools but gets the job done.

Ive been using Windows Movie maker, but its a bit old and very slow, probably not helped by the relatively ancient (5 years old) PC Ive got.

My 10 year old Real Audio Player GOLD seems to have updated itself with a video trimmer, which does all I need  :031:

tried openshot, sound was very stuttery  :187: and if you want to change from the default 720p 30fps to 1080p 60 fps which the videos are recorded in you have to close & reopen the program & then it is not very fluid  :435: & sound is poor.
the gopro video editor wont work with my crosstour videos, just wont import into the program,
only thing that works so far is the windows video viewer.. but cant edit  :157:

That's odd because I've never had any problems with it.  :027:
