Visited dealer.
They are not happy with you fitting a Vsystem and they say it can effect the running of the bike. I suppose if the "T" connector isn't a tight fit it could let in air which might screw with sensors. I don't want them bailing out of any warranty so that's out.  :006:
They recommend and fit the Esystem. 2 things I don't like about that is the expense can the controller on the bars.
They've not fitted the new Xsystem but can't see an issue.
I suppose an electronic one would be better as I can't find any mounting place that with get the reservoir vertical.
Looks like I've stirred up a debate on the oil though. :005:

Thanks for all the comments I appreciate them.
The cat thanks you too. :745:

In for its 1st service next week then I'll make a decision which way to go.

I believe Scottoiler markets two electronic systems, one with the handlebar controller, and a simpler one with controls under the seat.

I'm not knocking Scottoiler - they're a good company that provides very good backup/service. Maybe that's worth paying for

As most of you know, Im not into chain oilers but one of my mates John swears by the Tutoro mechanical oiler, no vacuum, no electric.

Oh my.

Now they are priced bit more competitively.

They are very big though.

You've given me lots to think about.
