The man hunched over his motorcycle can focus only on the present... he is caught in a fragment of time cut off from both the past and the future... he has no fear, because the source of fear is in the future, and a person freed of the future has nothing to fear.

The reason I ask is that Helmet choice seems to have as much affect sometimes as the screen/deflector itself. Some have found (Like me) that peaked Adventure helmets work better than std? Who knows, we are all different

A few have said the Shoei Hornet works for them with this type of bike.

Ha, that bad eh. I've ordered 7 parts, Piston rings & 6 gaskets, 3 of um out of stock but the very helpful boy said he can get them in 7 days. Gaskets used to be 7s/6d for a full engine set, this is 22 for the rings then 66 squids for a top end gasket kit. We'd make um out of corn flake packets when times were hard.

We also used bits of wire to hold the exhaust pipe on, a T-shaped piece of wood under the footrest as a sidestand, and chain grease on the primary chain if the chaincase leaked, when times were hard!  :003: Ar, them were the days!

Thankfully they've gone now ..... hopefully .....

How much of the wind noise is down to how we fit our plugs or are some really that much better than others. Last week I was out quiet ride, stopped for lunch, continued me ride noisy, I knew sumert was up 'cos I could hear sat-nav louder. When I stopped I expected one plug to be not in proper but both were in fine. Coming home quiet again. All same plugs.  :087:
