Healtech Quick shifter Issues
« on: 10 February, 2019, 07:41:00 PM »
Recently was having a few missed shifts, cutouts etc, then last time I rode the Q/S seemed to stop working altogether. The Module was showing a Flashing Red LED which signifies an error so took it off and used the bypass plug to revert to normal shifting, then set it up on my testbench (Dining Table). Can see the issue immediately, sensor is showing a 56% value off the bike (Should be 0.) I'll call BSD tomorrow as its got a 2 year warranty so I dont envisage any problems, I'll let you know

Touch wood, I've had no problems with mine so far, did you just take the sensor off not the whole unit under the tanks?, are the setting you are showing when you are Bluetooth to the unit?

Ive removed the module and the sensor but left all the wiring in place and just fitted the bypass plug. I connected the module up to a battery on the table and bluetoothed on as in picture above.

490: That's good news, don't think I would get mine that quickly if I have an issue, hopefully, they would fly it out., Any reason given why it failed? winter road muck in the UK getting into the sensor?.

No idea mate as to reason. Did you get yours direct from Healtech Hungary, or an importer?

Pretty sure they would look after you as well, just maybe not quite as quickly. Ive only had to ride mine 2 days without it, but blimey its a culture shock going back :008:

It's the only component missing from the bike, as you say would never ride without now, great for long twisty rides, not have to pull the clutch in all the time, and its so smooth when you get the rev up around the 7000 + the acceleration is sports mode is breathtaking, puts a smile like this :001: every time.
