I really enjoy looking at the photos posted by the UK and European members. Scenery I will never get to experience myself.  This is from my neighborhood ride out. I always try to incorporate this road when the skies are as clear as they were today. Mt Hood in the distance looking east

Uhh, has Oregon moved to Australia?

Stunning Grouchy, thanks for posting, I too will probably never be on your road, but they do say never say never.

I agree. It's great to see places and bikes where it's unlikely I'll ever get (time,, life, family, work are all great restrictions.....)

And I believed the earth was flat (till I was about 5 years old.....)

Ride safe and watch out for that edge!!

Great photo grouchy, are you able to ride anywhere near mt Hood?
Or is the area around it thick forest?

Actually I find the idea that Australia doesn't exist and all those boatloads of convicts were simply dropped over the side quite appealing ....  :164:

But that does mean that the 'Aussies' on here are all very good actors .......   :114:

The NZ Police in action has been on TV today, I was amazed at all the traffic for a country with so few people. They must all live together like homing pigeons. It was funny, got some real characters on film.

They said they average 50 inches of rain a year, that's 50% more than the UK. It's a wonder NZ hasn't sunk. Worrabout all that sunshine we been hearing of?  :164:
