Pyramid Fender Extender
« on: 09 January, 2019, 04:33:14 PM »
Just fitted a Pyramid front fender extender to my Matt black TS. For those who have considered fitting one, got to say great bit of simple kit. Looks like a factory fit once on the bike, cant really tell its there. Think Ill fit the rear one too I reckon. I noticed while riding in the wet before that water was spraying up underneath the lower yoke and potentially into the bearings and electrics which is what inspired me to fit it...

Yeah, think it stops a bit getting to the shock etc, but doesnt do anything for throwing it up the back of the bike and topbox if youve got one

Fraid not, in my experience anyway. Its something to do though for an evening on the dining room table with your glue and clamps pissing the missus off :008:

I have a Pyramid one ready to fit with the glue in the kit.

Is this reliable enough without the rivets?

I used the glue only and its been fine for 18k miles or so. Preparation and clamping overnight is the key

Did you score or roughen the contact surfaces?
