Newbie in Brum
« on: 06 January, 2019, 08:34:07 PM »
Picked up a 14 plate sport on Saturday, rather chuffed with it!
Traded my Tiger 800 for it. First impressions on a rather cold ride home, surprised how high the pegs are in comparison to the 800 ( still comfy though) love the 1050 motor, so much more refined, seems to be a better standard of finish in general than the 800......but oh, how crap is the standard screen.

Anyway, Hi to all, glad to become part of the family   :046:
cheers
H

Ayup hayden  :401: tut forum mucka.

Many go from the 800 to 1200 then back again, missing out the best one. I have both 800 & 1050, like them both for different reasons & use.

Its red, but pictures... :015:    I don`t think so, I`m over 50, It could take me hours of frustrated computer shouting to achieve that, it would severely cut into my wine drinking time.. :001:

So sorry to hear about the slow color.

AH, several of us are past 50 so that won't work.
Since your over 50, take out a note pad. AS you figure out HOW to put a picture in the gallery you will have instructions for next time.

Practice makes perfect.

Yes the 1050 is by far the pick of the Triumph engines and at >13 years old, everything's been redeveloped/reengineered and fixed..... :164:

hi Hayden,
its quite easy even for someone who's over 50 (me as well  :169: ) there is a guide in the Help section of the Photos Gallery
 https://photos.tiger-sport.com/page/how-to-upload
you can always have a glass of red while you are doing it so - Cheers  :186:

I'm closer to 60 now than 50 and manage to post pic's, so it can be done!

Anyhow, welcome.   :401:
The screen is a bit of an issue, there are a few threads to while away the hours reading on that subject alone....
