Thanks Paul. You're quite right, there are some fantastic biking roads up there. It's going to be a long 18 months!!

Tell us more Phil, what inspired this brilliant move?

Paul, I could go on for hours but, very briefly.
We discovered the North York Moors and Whitby when the children were very small. We fell in love with the place and holiday there every year.
The kids are now 19 and 17. The eldest is at Uni and his sister is sitting her A Levels next year and hopes to go to Durham University.
I've already taken early retirement (old gitte!) and my Missus will do the same once A Levels are done.
We've bought a house with a garage for my TS (natch!!) and a superb sea view. cant wait!!!

Now get yer old engine oil out & give that fence a lick. Nowt like recycling.

Now that's a good idea. Probably poisonous to bugs, but I'm sure it preserves the wood ....

Works better'n t'owd creosote m8, two 6'x4' fence panels licked both sides soaks up 4L of f/s 10w40. I have a few panels that must be 50 year old now. You'll no get any woodworm. They do end up a dark shade though.
