Last ride of 2018
« on: 31 December, 2018, 06:55:02 PM »

It was a damp and murky day in North West Kent, but plenty good enough for a 100 mile round trip to the coast (Folkestone, Sandgate and Hythe).

My TS will get a serious clean tomorrow.

Best wishes and safe riding to all in 2019

Phil

I know Timbox, I know. Total lack of imagination and effort on my part.
I'll try harder next year 😀

Happy and safe new year to you too, Phil!
And a question to you; engine crash bars.. are they matt black Hepco-Becker engine crash bars?
They look good! And probably operate as they should; protect engine and decrease crash energy (bending model vs. rigid model).

Good on ya for getting out before the real cold set in, does it get cold down there.

Now get yer old engine oil out & give that fence a lick. Nowt like recycling.

Thank you for your good wishes.
The crash bars are genuine Triumph and are matt black

Hey Paul2bikes.
The temp can get down to around freezing in Sunny Kent. It was 4 degrees today.
Our Grand Master Plan is to relocate to Whitby, North Yorks in @ 18 months.
God's own country with proper weather!!

That is a grand plan Phil, I am most envious, my missus won't move 'cos of family or I'd be there also. I love Whitby, best fish & chip shops in the world. It's a really nice town anorl with some lovely coastal walks. we sometimes go to the Captain Cook rally at Roxby just a few miles north along the coast. Inland of Roxby are miles of country lanes, single trackers, more suited to a small traillie than a Tiger. Great rides for the Tiger anorl into the dales. And not far to Hull for the ferry. Lucky you.

Couple of hours and you're in Scotland!

Thanks Paul. You're quite right, there are some fantastic biking roads up there. It's going to be a long 18 months!!
