My KTM 1190's kill switch likewise blanks the green neutral light with one big caveat: It also brings up a full screen flashing "Kill Switch" banner on the LCD display. That is kinda smart and helpful since there is NO WAY one would ever miss the fact of this condition.

Is this neutral light thing only for the newer Sports? Just hit the kill switch (off position) and turned the key on, the neutral light came on as usual.
Larger than life and twice as ugly!

Just tried it, with and without the kill switch. The neutral light stays on, so is not controlled by the ECU.

Could be a difference in the neutral light staying on between hitting kill switch after ignition already on, or operating kill switch first then turning on ignition?  :027:

Yep, just tried it with mine. If kill switch off before ignition then no neutral light, but its also dependant on power down having completed, (Main relay takes a minute to power off)
