Ah I see you are referring to the  V system. Its the electric pump that seems to be the problem with mine...

On my E system I just press the prime button once.

The boy in this vid of the X system says keep pressing the prime button until oil comes through to the nib.

I dont blame you Tim! Starting to wish I hadnt bothered either! Scottoiler have ignored my emails too...Shame because I had a great experience with the last one I had on my Africa Twin back in the 90s dispatching in London...

When I had a problem, I phoned thro' to Scottoiler, they couldn't have been more helpful. The boy talked me thro' the my problem, twer just me not reading instructions properly as usual. I was expecting it work with the engine as the old V system does.

So my replacement unit finally arrived this week. Just fitted it today and success it works perfectly. No problem priming at all so I can confirm the original unit had a faulty pump....faith in the Scottoiler restored...😂

Good to hear you got it sorted. They are a good bunch at Scottoiler imo, they like repeat customers.

Any chance of a photo, still deciding how to oil my TS, like the idea of DIY. Thanks
