Newbie from Spain
« on: 16 December, 2018, 07:33:19 PM »
Hi all,

Recently bought a white colour Tiger 1050  '07 from a friend. This is my first Tiger, but not my first Triumph. Had a Speedmaster and still keep my '05 Speed Triple, pending for repair as recently had a crash trying to avoid a car. My forearm is broken and till January won't be able to ride it! But I have to recognize seeing both in my garage I feel excited thinking both on the next trip with my Triger as much as on the desire to recover my Speed.

Thanks for letting me in. You are all invited to a virtual round of beers.

:401: Look forward to the Spring! Check out the info in the stickies, especially 'So you've just bought a Tiger 1050 - what next?' (or something like that).

welcome and get well soon. You 'll get some more relaxing riding, compared to the Speed, but as exciting.

Hi all,

Thanks for your replies  :028:. Went today to the doctor and all seems correct, so I expect to start rehabilitation in two weeks.

Having so many time for me I have read a lot in this incredible forum. I have already read what to do when you buy a second hand bike, amazing post. Now thinking in all pending things to do before riding the bike, but need both hands  :430: At least l have removed the battery and connected a batt tender.

Paul2bikes, Bodger and all the rest, you are wellcome to Spain. Lots of incredible places here, same as in your countries, but different. If any of you ever need a hand at least can tell of various interesting routes, including must visit and where to eat.

I will try to post a picture of the bike soon
