Hi everybody!
I joined the forum last week after switching from a Multistrada
The Ducati was great - until I got the bill for the 30000 mile service 😤
Im just a week into the triumph and Im very impressed so far
The triple is more urban friendly, I feel the build quality and comfort levels are high. Im sure Im gonna get used to the higher revving motor and the lack of gear position indicator before Santa comes to town 😜
Glad to be part of a new crowd. The forum looks really friendly and useful

Welcome Phil.
Prepared to share with us the cost of a 30,000m service on a Multistrada?

Main dealer servicing aint cheap for any make these days, but at least with the Trumpet Its fairly easy to do most, it if not all your own spannering. Check the stickys, its all there.

Welcome in!

I came from a big twin too, it's nice that this bike still has a massive amount of torque off idle!

Never ever bought a Ducati or BMW due to the excessive servicing costs.

There's a coupe of European fellows who were so incensed at how BMW rip off their clients on servicing, that they developed some FREE to all software to help provide Triumph users with independence from the OEM dealerships. It's called tuneecu and you should check it out, as well as the other stickys.

Thanks for the replies all  :062:

The Ducati dealership initially wanted 1.3K / US$1K, for the 30K miles service including work to free / grease the rear hub and fix a weep on clutch slave cylinder. But after a bit of friendly banter / negotiation, they knocked 25% off. Still eyewateringly expensive, but could've been worse I guess...

I thought WOW - Google translate is more powerful than I had imagined.

But then I realised that you had done the translation yourself  :008:
