Hi from Germany
« on: 22 November, 2018, 01:25:13 PM »
A warm ''Hi'' to all of you. I come from a small village near Mnchengladbach. I drive a Tiger 1050 built in 2009 (colour black).
I am proud to be a part of the Triumph community and I hope that we gonna have nice dialogues.
Furthermore I hope, that I can learn a lot from your experience.

Friendly Michael (called Micha)

Hi Micha,

welcome to the forum.
I come from Belgium, but have worked in MG-Wickrath for a couple of years, before I switched to Haan (near Wuppertal, where Heidi Klum was born  :142: ).
I lived in Duisburg for about 7 years, so I speak a terrific amount of "Ruhrpott"-German  :002:.
What Autobahn do you recommend in your neighbourhood, if I'd like to test the speed limit and turbulence behaviour of my Puig screen on my TS?

I used to take the A4 direction of Cologne/Kln) in the past,  because I just loved the curves and the lack of speed limit. These days, it's only partially limited, unfortunately, like a lot of Autobahn stretches  :161:.

Hi mate, also quite familiar with the area, used to alternate with Hotels in MG and Venlo when I was out there 2008/9. I'll never forget the dual-carriageway being flooded outside MG and riding through it on my old Beemer, water came up over the pots, and I got a round of applause the other side of the flood by 3 German Cops who had been signalling me not to try getting through.

Enjoy the Tiger, I know they are quite liked in the Fatherland :001:

Ayup Micha  :401: to forum.

I don't know much of Germany, been through many times on route from Trier or Alsace to Austria/Italy & once from Rotterdam to Prague route. Have you toured in the UK?
