Ha, yeah Glasgow is down south to you boys. How come weegies have such a strong accent. All the Aberdeen folk I know speak quite good English, none of yer Doric.  :031:

Im sure Ive heard said that the best Queens English was spoken in Aberdoom, I couldnt understand I word when I was up there, and they thought I was an Ozzy

I thought that was Inverness? I've been up to the Aberdeen tomcc summer camps many times, none of those boys have a strong accent. Maybe they aint originals, just gone up for the dosh on the rigs & services to the rigs. I know one was from NZ & another now deceased was from Devon but he'd acquired a light Scotty accent.
