I have been using these upgrade bulbs for years in both bikes and cars. Mostly Osram Nightbreakers but also Nightracers, Sylvania Silverstars, and PIAA Extreme White. They all have given a brighter whiter light and better night vision but they do have a downside. In my experience, the longevity of these bulbs is much less than the OEM bulbs. On average I get about a year out of them before they fail. Just changed a failed Nightbreaker +110 in my wife's car last night, 11 months old. Still, I don't do much riding at night but do a lot of driving at night in my car, The added visibility for my aging eyes  :073: is worth the hassle of swapping them out more often.
Larger than life and twice as ugly!
