That is fairly easy stuff in that vid, you'd have to go as fast as those test riders were going to make it fun, not much fun if you come off though. Those of us that have been on a Triumph factory visit will have seen all the trashed bikes the test riders & Journo's have brought back, must have been approx. 50 - 60 in a compound within the factory. They only show us the good bits. Sometimes ends very badly as it did for Kevin Ash, remember him?

Haha the Journos never take the bikes back theres a hard core of bike movers who do it I stuck it out for 3 years but it did make me some good contacts to this day,as for the muppets at Triumph I could guarantee if I went to Triumph 1 the press bike would be at Triumph 2 and sometimes they never where the f*** it was.

When a journo was on a jolly in some sunny climes they would draft one of us lot in to do the multi bike test stuff in the UK which ranged from great fun to the absolutely horrific the final straw was getting one of the other guys who fell off into the photographers car took him to hospital only to find out later he had 2 broken legs and I decided there were easier ways to earn a crust.

When not doing the above I was freelancing for Ducati driving the demo truck the bike that the guy above crashed was my demo 1098 off the truck just wished id Recorded the conversation when I sent them(Ducati)photos of the bike with just the forks and motor the rest was 50 yards in a field even the battery was split in half, the things you never see in the press eh........

The Brinks enduro attracts many of the top riders in the country, our chum blew his wife's ktm350 on it this year. His own 1090 started as a 990, he blew that then the 1090 motor. Bought an AT but says it isn't up to the job like his ktm was, just uses it as a road bike & easy stuff. Sure there'll be vids of test riders on AT's also showing it can be done......by some.

The tour guide told us, the crashed bikes in the compound were the press bikes?

Where else would 50 - 60 crashed bikes come from?  :745:

Then again, how can you actually practice a jump without jumping?  Wonder if suicide bombers practice :008:

Practice the jump without the wooden fence & barbed wire, less chance of getting hurt. Downstairs for the dancing eh m8.

Suicide bombers could practice without the ship.  :745:
