I have the lowering plates but have not lowered it yet. Was thinking to adapt the side stand but have an original by me. Was going to drop a plumbline from a datum point, measure and try to replicate that to see what needed to be cut out of the leg. That's the plan anyway.

I lowered mine 25mm & didn't need to do owt with the sidestand.

Yes, I'm with Paul.

Years back, I had a bike that was lowered, still with OEM sidestand. I just always made sure I parked, so any lean/camber was lower on the sidestand side. Wasn't a problem.

Perhaps you should see how you get on with it, before making any changes  :031:
