So a down under bike with NO cat (by default) Air box mod. And an open can.

Gee, you might consider my tune.   Been a long while but my maps loaded on a newer base if you insist just don't remember the name.

If your looking for just stock, Dikman's tune list.   Aussie tune for Arrow race can would be closest.

OF COURSE all are in the tuning sticky.  Report back on what you decide and how it worked.

Thanks Indy, I think I'll try yours first. What is the difference between your tune and Dilkman's? Should I stock up on rear tyres?

Indy's is a custom tune, Dickman posted a list of the Triumph issued tunes.

The OEM Triumph tunes for markets like Australia without a CAT or SAI that would probably work for you would be:

Tigers up to VIN #535378
Arrow Race = 20546
Arrow e-marked (Road) = 20543

Tigers from VIN #535379
Arrow Race = 20618
Arrow e-marked (Road) = 20615

I listed the "road" tunes because the "race" tunes might be a bit rich.

Here is the full list from tune ecu, you have to scroll down quite a way to get to the Tiger list.

Thanks gosling 1, he covered it.

Mines listed as Who can run my tune, who can not.

The factory list on TuneEcu was confusing IMO, so Dikman took the time to make it much easier to understand.
Or at least simple enough I could understand.

If you read the post my original saved tune was as done on my bike. One change Wayne made was lower the idle. MANY had issues with that.
So many pages in a member figured out and posted that updated tune. I then saved that tune on the first page to save members from having that issue.
Many have run it and enjoyed how it smoothed things out and give must some extra pep.
No, the tires should be safe. Your MPG can take a real hit if you get overly ham fisted with the throttle. Otherwise the cruise speed at 75 MPH was leaned to give decent MPG.
I averaged around 40mpg being reasonably sane.

Are you sure there's no CAT on yours Ben?

After 2010, NZ ones came with CAT installed. Worth checking  :169:

Awesome, thanks guys. My road home is about 8 ks of twisty road so i will try indy's first. Definitely no cat yellow, I've had the exhaust off.
I'm only doing this because it has an issue of shutting down on deceleration around 1800 revs. Checked all connections and the tune is the only thing left I can think of that is making it misbehave.

Have you check what the current tune number is?

No I haven't yet, just getting my ducks in a row. I'm on call at the moment so I want to have time to familiarize myself with the program and steps and not be interupted half way through. The previous owner seems to have done things properly so I would imagine he had the bike retuned when he put the arrow on.
