Wasn't thinking of anything quite that extreme!  :004:  I'm sure we had a member with a silver TS who'd done his in red.

I had an 800 XC SE that had had the crash bars powder coated red to match the frame (almost!)

I see you've been drawn in from the wilderness to plant your first post  :031:
Would love to hear all about your biking history in the new members section  :465:
I've ridden a couple of 800s myself and was close to pulling that trigger. What made you step up to a TS1050 ?

You can just about get the side panels off along with the radiator side covers, it's a bit fiddly but can be done. Still it's probably easier to take the bars off to do it or put a cloth between the panel and bars when taking off to avoid accidental scratches.

Yes, it's possible get off side panels with Heed bars. Last year save right side of my bike when fell down with heavy luggage. I recommend it, Heed gives solid protection.

Hi All

and a set for my Resurrecting this thread. I have a set of Heed bars, well actually I have 2, one for my brothers TS.

2007 bars came with instructions  but none with the 2014 TS.

Anyone fitted them, it's obvious where the bars go but not which bolts to use and where the large black spacer fits. Searched for instruction but can't find any.  :183:

Cheers all. windy  :031:

No problem, it'll be the weekend though cos I'm away until then..

They were very straight forward to fit and look very neat.

I fitted a set to my 2014 and a set to my brother's 2007..  :028:
