Low comments such as these are one of the reasons few manufacturers take any notice of forums. My apologies to anyone from Triumph who happens to see them,

TCC, Just what is your problem? Why have you gone back 2 pages & picked that one sentence out of my post to try & stir up trouble? Read the whole post instead of looking at ways to nit-pick at people. I spent many years writing work instructions for assembly operators so I know how it can go horribly wrong if something is missed from the instruction, the assembly operators are not to blame, they are not time served/qualified Engineers. If you read the full post maybe you might understand.

This is the full post:

I did not ment to insult anybody...but frankly speaking...does any of you believe that ANY person from ANY manufacturer would read ANY biker forum..? :002: I really dought that :002:
My point was mainly to tell that it is common thing about lack of grease everywhere, not only by triumph

They do read them, or certainly dealer staff do. Otherwise they wouldn't be telling you not to believe what you read in the forums!  :001:

Maybe that's why they've started putting grease in them. If we don't tell them how will they know.

We certainly should not be apologising to them for letting them know they haven't put grease in the headstock bearings. FFS, it's like apologizing to the landlord of the pub for giving us a short measure of bad beer, or for not putting the Gin in a Gin & Tonic.   :087: :087: :087:
