I believe we have turned the corner and that prices will now rise  :031: The OP just needs to correct his description and it'll be copacetic. I am looking forward to seeing prices adjust upward for these magnificent examples of neo-retro technology! Whatcha all think? There is a visionary amongst us and we must rise to the occasion.
So what you are saying is people will go out looking for a clean example of a bike from 3 generations ago. Sorry 'mericans - couldn't resist that  :745:.

It does have a low mileage and does look to be a good clean example - even if its not an Exploder. A good price is one that someone is willing to pay for it.

I'm saying nothing. :005: Just being optimistic and maybe a tad sarcastic.... But in a positive, helpful way. Now, if it sells......  :164:  :020:

Its definitely priced high and I am not sure there will be a market for the original 1050s with low mileage. Hopefully I am wrong since the TS is not available in the U.S.  If there is not a market here for new Tigers now then I doubt there will be much interest at anytime. You can never tell because the old school Station Wagons have gone up considerably in the last 10 years and finding one without rust and rot can make a flipper thousands in a few days. Real buyers will baulk at the price anyways and offer what they think it is worth. Sometimes you will find that unexperienced buyer who will overpay at or around asking price. GL with the sale.

I wonder if this ever sold? I spent a few hours at my local dealer's open day yesterday and not one BMW, Triumph or Motus ticked my box. Either too Transformerish (Triumph), too pretentious (BMW) or just too frigging small like a Ducati (Motus). I'm on the verge of buying one of the new soft tail Harleys, believe it or not... But maybe it is just time to wait out the barren times for motorcycles. The open day was not exactly well supported and the vast majority of visitors were 60-ish and up. The only non-gray hair I saw was among the salespeople. I guess it does not help that Georgia has this idiotic no-lane-splitting law that makes every motorcycle into a very narrow car with all of the con's and none of the pro's. I sat at a railroad crossing for 15 minutes just because all the F150's in front of me took so long to wind up the rubber bands, put down the phone, steady the coffee cup and then drift yacht-like into motion....

The 150 drivers must be cousins of the same type of morons here.

The not-gray riders that come into the shop are mostly buying the 800 or T-120.
The shop has adventure bike rides that go off road for most of the 200+ miles.
There are some young riders, but they came off of street bikes, and don't know much about off-road riding.
Not too many Jap bikes, mostly Ts, BMW, KTM, and Ducs
Maybe more will come as the years pass.

Was that a typo, an opinion or a prophesy?
