Which exhaust has everybody got....
« on: 09 February, 2018, 09:03:56 AM »
Hi :)  Had the TS for a few weeks and starting to think about a different exhaust.  Mine is still running in and developing some tone, but it's sooooo quiet !

Been listening to various youtubes but it's so hard to tell the difference as it depends which phone people record the noise on etc. etc.  So... which exhaust do you have and what sort of noise does it make !

From what I can tell the SC Project sounds good, but the high level one isn't compatible with the centre stand, so it would need to be the low level one.  And Akropovic don't seem to make one for the new bike.  And the Arrow one is the official aftermarket one.

Thanks !

Think youve got the SC project the wrong way round, low level not compatible with centre stand I think. Forget the Triumph arrow, quieter than stock.

Ive got the Scorpion Carbon:

Nice sound with baffle in,  at first I thought too loud with baffle out but have since changed my mind though at the moment the bike pulls better with baffle in, this may change after tomorrow when I have the Power Commander tweaked.

Whoops yes sorry, I was really tired last night!  I didn't think it made much sense.  TBH it doesn't say the low one isn't compatible, it just says the high one is !

That's a nice looking exhaust - do you have any audio of it?  And what's Power Commander..... ?

Having the centre stand support taken off your existing exhaust and welded onto a new one might cost you 20 at your local exhaust fitters.

I've been looing at a few universal 51mm slip-ons. Seem cheap enough to have a go with and there's no need to worry about the centre stand  :169:

Had the SC Project carbon high can for a while and the REMUS at the moment.
Both useable with the center stand.
The SC was louder but the REMUS sound is better. Both with db killers in.
