Ah, I see. It could go more flush but then its difficult to adjust. Maybe I could think about it a bit more but it doesnt bother me or get in the way

How does the bike handle with the new Wilbur shock? I have the 640 on the way, and I had the RaceTech front springs installed with new gold valves. The front already transformed the bike drastically and I am hoping the rear makes that much more of a difference

Hi when removing the original shock did you have to remove the seat undertray and battery etc or could you tease the old shock out? I had a Maxton shock on my old ST1050 and it was a proper pig to get in and out. Good shock though especially when combined with a fork makeover.
