Triumph brand U lock, advice please

I have just bought a Tiger Sport and have seen in the handbook that the Triumph U lock fits under the seat. All I want to know is does anyone own one? are they any good? as they seem pricey for what they are, but fitting under the seat is a huge plus point, carrying  security with you without the hassle of actually carrying it, if of course they are any good.

AFAIK its just a U-lock. Others may fit in the slot. Personally I don't keep stuff under my seat because putting it back on isn't always a 2 second job  - but then I am a lazy sod.
