Isle Of Man 2017
« on: 06 June, 2017, 01:46:19 PM »
Just wanted to mention the Isle of Man races are on Velocity channel (USA) this week. Still in awe at how fast they fling those bikes down that bumpy road course! My only complaint with the tv coverage is that they need subtitles for some of the post race interviews, they are speaking English, right? :001:

:745: It is hard to comprehend sometimes but I love it.  Those boys are amazing.  Haven't watched any yet, but I'm recording all of it.

I wasn't going to name any names. :164:

The onboard cameras are amazing, not sure which is scarier to watch, the forward view of the coarse with the shadows and stone walls or the view of the rider being bounced around trying to hang on to the clip-ons. Many years ago before mini cameras like the GoPro were around, I saw a video lap of the circuit done by "Yer Man" himself Joseph Dunlop. They strapped a full sized movie camera to the tank of his V4 Honda :005:, I still have the DVD (V4 Victory) and is still exciting to watch after all these years.
