Hardwired Action cam
« on: 31 December, 2016, 06:10:29 PM »
I have a "RoadHawk+" Hardwired action camera kit, and am wondering Where is the best place to splice or wire into? I want it to turn on with ignition on not just wired direct to battery. Any suggestions ? Thank you

Aren't the side lights on all the time when the ignition is on?

The sidelights come on in 'Park' mode.

Use the sat nav connector in the nose cone  :031:

If the red and black cables are hard wired to the battery, and the blue cable to a switched live (anywhere), then it'll work automatically. That's how I've wired mine up.
