We were on the Green Triumph Trophy 900 parked outside the pub.
Were you riding with the Pro-Rider bunch that we encountered earlier in the twisties?

Regarding the new TS - I only rode it in sport mode and it felt very nice all round.
I had been looking for a new bike for a while now and had tested several and none of them justified the cost.
But I knew the new Tiger was coming and it didn't disappoint.
Its very limiting when you are looking for a sporty bike but you need a very upright riding position.
Thanks Triumph for getting it right this time.

Yes, I do remember the Green Trophy. Nice colour.

I used to work with Paul and he's now a professional trainer. It was the first time I went out with them. I can't say I agree with all of their OCD techniques, but I did enjoy following some of those guys whom really do know what they are doing  :062:

Let's see what the new year briings. I need to pay to extend my driveway around the house and lay a further 120m of concrete, before I can get a bike  :114:

Well apparently the boat with my bike on it arrives on the 13th  :169:
Will have to wait for it to be unloaded and transported to the dealer and readied/checked.
Probably another week to wait....counting the days!

That Holeshot demo must have had a good flogging lol, i too have ridden it, only in sport mode. Nice progression from my 14 TS, fixes most of the niggles I had, and most of my extras will will transfer over to the 17model.
gonna test a BMW s100XR before I pull the trigger on a new one tho.

The new model picks up speed really quickly (so I've heard)  :005:

If it was my garage, I'd check the techo top speed, after each test ride and also reset it each day  :169:

I'm thinking you have mph instead of kph - if the new Tiger does 304kmph I will be well impressed.
But yes it does have good pickup resulting in "heavy elbow syndrome" in my case anyway!
I will be installing my radar detector ASAP  :121:

good move them having a demo - I notice that they have not advertised having any new Tiger Sports yet.
No need when they are all Pre-SOLD......

The new ones don't record max speed  :031: - so you don't need to reset it for the road if you've just been on a track day
