Spoke again to my local dealer - seems (according to him) that the paper version for the new 1050 tiger sport will NOT be made available BUT the paper version of the last tiger sport model is still good for the new bike.
Technically they are the same ......
Anybody know better ??

From what I've seen, it'll be pretty much the same for the basic chassis, but the engine/gearbox and fueling have a lot of changes and certain other areas like the switchgear, which now has a different set up on the right for the cruise control, will be different.
The wiring and throttle grip will be different as well for the ride by wire.
The screen is different.

But apart from that........

Good point - the local dealer told me that the engine was essentially the same !!!!!

Not sure what is the truth now

Some similarities - especially in mechanical areas. But individual parts and settings likely to be different.

Lot of controls different and associated electronics and software - e.g. ride by wire, riding modes, even choices in menus.

I think the new engine is smaller than the old one as well.

I managed to download all I wanted in an hour for 6  :002:
If you downloaded it, then post it up..
I'll place it in a sticky.

Interestingly, it covers the Tiger 1050 and 1050 SE as well as the Tiger Sport 13 - 14!

Hi Paullie, could you kindly tell me the torque values for the silencer support bolt and the passenger footrests and sidebars bolts?

Many Thanks :158:

Hi Puccio,
I'm sorry, I'm away for a few days, so no access to manual.
However on the T1050 the silencer bracket to frame torque is just 15 Nm. Rear footrest hanger to frame is 25 Nm. (from the T1050 manual via this forum).
