Lowering links

I've decided its time to lower mine - I think I'm getting shorter! Is there a post somewhere with the torque wrench settings for the fork clamps?

I have lowered mine 25mm and pushed the forks thru the yokes by 27mm .... you will hear figures of as little as 12mm some at 18mm.

I took advice from Richard at Maxton who explained the hows and whys which is simple trignometry. However if you have standard forks (I don't) you will struggle to get that much thru because of the adjusters on top of the fork.

For me 25r 18f. Tried front at 12 - 25 before settling at 18, cables were bunched up a tad too much for me, at any more.

Still nobody offering polished SS plates to make the bottom look good? I'm about to show my bike locally and it's an ugly bit.

I got my S/S ones off Mick on forum, he doesn't do them anymore but Squaredeals do similar.
