Yep, and that's why I'd never lane split, even it were passed in Texas.

I had a farm truck try the same thing to me this summer. By the time I got around him I had just the far side white line to ride on. Luckily for me I actually went very wide passing him to start.  Lane spilt .....I don't fn think so.

happened to me too, upstate NY. Thing is, my 2 riding buddys, both of which were behind me, and witnessed it, are both cops.  :169: :121: :123:     very different ending.  :028:

This was in Granbury, TX, just down the road from me.  I travel that area all the time.  It's a large retirement community with many old people, many of which shouldn't be driving.

It's good that the two riders are ok.

I ride with my daughter alot,I couldn't imagine how awful that would be for that to happen with her along.
