One previous owner, bike was bought and serviced at Hermy's. They do have the complete service history. Thank heavens!

I'll post a pic as soon as I can,

Congrats to you Applecrew. You've made some sound decisions to acquire a good bike.

Awesome news,I'm sure the tune is fine now but soon you can find out for yourself. I have heard good things about hermys and have bought quite a few parts from them online troublefree. Been meaning to take a road trip that way and buy some shirts and maybe another hat! Might just do that this fall after triumph rolls out the new bonneville.

No need to buy shirts from them. You'll get a free tshirt when you buy that Bonneville  :062:

I finally found the time to run through the procedure for reading the existing map. Happy to report that the map loaded (20548) is the latest map, which is cool.

I am a newb here, can someone tell me the difference between SAI and non-SAI equipment? I would like to verify whether or not Beast is so equipped.

Thanks!

You have sai. It's an emissions conto thing that gives that awesome snarl on decel. It helps burn off 7 burn fuel in the exhaust.

 :0461:

Sorry missed you joining, was away on a nice cruise.

So  :405:

Yes sticky with highest octane you can find. From mid to high grade you will pay maybe a buck more per fill up.

On the SAI, all USA models came with it. If you look closely  you might be able to see if the SAI hoses are still there front, top of cam cover. There is Angryroosters's mod and block off plates if you like a quieter decel.

Check out his mod in a sticky I thought (top of each section) Should be able to see the hoses I'm talking about.
