Chain and Lock
on: 13 November, 2014, 12:23:46 PM
Looking for some advice on the better chain and lock combo. I have a disc lock already. I was thinking of selling up as I have lost my secure parking, but found a bay with railings that I can use in liverpool city centre. So looking for a good 2m chain.

The railing are the weekest link. I have looked at almax but at 200+ its pricy. Will spend it if there is nothing better out there. I know if some one wants it, it will go. Just want to stop the normal pond scum.

Also looking for a good rain cover.

Arbus make a very good chain and lock as do english chain co, just make sure it's off the ground to make it harder to break.
Keep the rubber side down.   Mick

dont chain anything to railings - no point - ground anchor maybe
