Top Case Sliding Carriage Needed
« on: 23 May, 2013, 03:44:05 PM »
I need the part that goes with the metal part for the top case.  It is called a sliding carriage.  Made of hard rubber or polymar I guess.  Sits on top of a metal plate and the top case slides and locks into it.  Call (217)six-seven-nine1359 or PM me with price etc.

I'll look when I get home.  I have a "spare" one somewhere.  It's got a chunk missing out of the back of it the OO claims occured when it was shipped to him.  Looks to me like he was trying to modify it for something.

If I find it I'll take pictures.

I looked the other night, and looked again last night. I found the metal piece that goes under it but not the plastic part.  Seems I was experimenting with a different rear rack design and never completed it.   I don't think I threw away the plastic part so if I find it I'll let you know.

I'm still looking for the sliding carriage part, so if anyone has one, let me know.

Are you only needing the plastic plate on top?

I have a complete one that has a chunk out of the back. (Finally located it)

It didn't impact function and the top box mostly covered it.  I was going to repair it but never got around to it.

Still need it.  Condition does not bother me.  How much do you want?

I am quite sure I have a new plastic top plate in my inventory. $20 + shipping would do it. If you still need it PM me your address and I can get it in the mail on Tuesday.

That sounds like a hell of a deal!  I have someone else wanting the entire rack now anyway.
