Bear with me im new but
« on: 28 October, 2012, 03:39:20 PM »
no doubt the question is old     :431:

I have a 1050se 2010 model with 4500mls on the clock - its got a genuine arrow slip on and i need some advice on air box mods and air filter choise before I get my local dealer to check the ECU
i have just traded up from a hayabusa and know i will never replace that power but intend to put some serious european milage on it next year and im looking for pulling power and 'tween corner squirt' to go play in the alps etc  :005:

ps - i will be playing with a couple of BM gs1200's

Your old question will go with my old answer.  :008:

Look at the sticky (top of page) in the tuning section.
Get a tuneecu cable and DIY.

Look at Dikmans tune list for the Triumph tunes.

Consider pulling the cat, load AK's or my tune.

You don't mention is the Arrow can, street or race. Does make a difference.

Air box mod's also in the sticky, also look at hole in clean side of air box. (since your there)

Take a look at this video showing a street can.
At the end of the video you can see way down the pipe.
I am guessing that would be a race can.
So easy check. can you put a broom stick down the pipe. Yes = race. No = street.
