test time
« on: 07 October, 2012, 09:15:42 PM »
after changing my gearing to 17/45 and loading new map in(20545)
i took bike for a good test today today and end result was pleasing.
i drove along side one of my mates at 70 mph
my speedo was 1mph out
i set speedo reduction to -5 when gearing was changed.
we then decided to give the bikes a good trash.
long open roads and no traffic
dropped bike down a few gears and just let rip.
once i seen 130 mph on the clocks i thought there wouldnt be much more but i kept throttle open and the end result was 146mph.
front wheel was shaking a bit
am impressed to say the least as my last bike was a k8 hayabusa

Sweet.  Imagine that is about top end, but you did drop the front one tooth.
Wind resistance is a huge limiting factor and the Tiger is not a nice clean bike with a fairing.

There are a couple of more tricks and tunes to try. Read Ak's or my mod's

Who do you think you are? Barry Sheene? You're nicked, sonny!
