Tuneboy & TuneECU
« on: 07 August, 2011, 06:53:20 PM »
As a new Tiger owner I was wondering, I've used my TuneBoy & TuneECU with much success on the sprintST 955. Can I use them on a Tiger 1050 ?(maybe not the Tuneboy because its coded to the ECU) but TuneECU should work.   Anyone?

You can purchase a key for your tiger, mine cost me $190 US before the dollar took a hit.

I would go with tuneecu unless tuneboy comes up with there on the fly tune change.
Until then there is very little difference between the 2 expect the price. $15 for tuneecu cable vs $200 for key.

:401: alpha. As Indy said, there's no point in spending the money on a new Tuneboy key (yet) as it hasn't kept up with the latest tunes. On a brighter note, your Tuneboy cable will work fine with TuneECU. There's lots of info in this section about TuneECU. (Strangely enough, I prefer the way Tuneboy works, but I can't use it because of the new tunes  :110:).

Thanks for the replys fellas. I've found TuneECU easier to use the Tuneboy, also the TuneECU is USB & my Tuneboy is Serial which I don't have on my lappy.

+1 for tuneecu. For me, Tuneboy rank as having the worst customer support ever...not 1 question I asked when I started using the software got answered...several got a first reply, then nothing, as if they just fell off the face of the planet! I wish someone would have told me before I parted with the money  :138:
