OBD 11 Ports
« on: 21 January, 2011, 07:13:32 PM »
A quick thankyou to the forum for helping me solve a little 'faux pas'.

I fitted some additional lights to my Tiger last weekend and blew a fuse in the process. I know, I should
have disconnected the battery first but I couldn't be bothered resetting the clock etc.

Anyway, when the fuse blew, the Engine Management Light came on and I was going to have to ride out 30miles
to my dealer to have it reset.

From the forum, I found out bikes also have OBD 11 ports as well as cars. I found mine, connected my reader and reset it.
Its been fine since.

Thanks again :046:

It would have also reset after 3 startup / shut down cycles (after 3 rides).
There's no place like 127.0.0.1
