About to add a Tiger to the stable
« on: 27 April, 2010, 11:59:20 PM »
Hi, everybody! I'm Scott, aka Solobear from the Midlands of South Carolina. Riding a 2005 DL650 that I'm about to trade in on a leftover 09 Tiger, thought I would search the Net for a forum and... here I be!
Started riding in March 2000, have an 06 Wing and an 01 VStar 1100 also. I enjoy long trips, but not Ironbutt material. ( More like Fatbutt, if you know what I mean ). Hoping to make a few new friends here, and learn a bit about the Tiger from those that already have them.
As things stand now I expect to finalize the deal Thursday - can hardly wait!
Had I known I'd live this long I would have taken better care of myself!

:462: Thanks for the welcomes! I am unaccustomed to this style of BB, haven't used this format in a long time. Please forgive any "fo paws" and point me in the right direction when I goof. ( Goof could be my middle name if I wasn't used to "Scott")
Hoping to not start a conversation in the wrong place, and avoiding the topics of oil, tires, and windshields <G>... can anyone clue me in to the fuel consumption of these bikes? Not like it really matters, the deal is done except for picking up the check and picking up the bike. That happens tomorrow afternoon!
